Our Story

Ten years ago, we started a small garden and soon after added chickens. Over the years our garden and our children’s passion for farm animals grew. As we continued to raise our own food, we noticed how much more rich, flavorful, and delicious our homegrown foods were compared to even the best store bought foods.

We also noticed an incredible improvement in our health and wellness. As a result, we have made it a goal to grow as much food as we possibly could ourselves.

In addition to growing our the majority of own food, we developed a desire to share this amazing food with others. The culmination of our experience resulted in the creation of The Seasonal Homestead Farm! We are excited to make our food available to you.

Our chickens and pigs are pasture raised using rotational grazing, and supplemented with the best quality nonGMO grains we could find as well as garden extras.

As ruminants, the cows have a different diet. The cows are 100% grass fed and grass finished. Even though we use the term grass, in reality they eat a variety of native plants from the pasture. Their pasture meal includes clovers, fescue, chickweed, dandelion greens and more. We use rotational grazing practices with the cattle as well.

Right now we have eggs available on our shop page. USDA inspected pork will be available in December 2022. We will periodically have garden produce available when we have surpluses from the family garden. Please sign up for the newletter to stay posted on available products.
